Minor update, 20.May: It's one of those moments ... I've been trying to tune-up the GUI with extra code to minimize unnecessary drawing, since sometimes 20ms lag in video and 10ms lag in audio was caused by redrawing everything with Direct3D. It turned out the 3D clipper or drivers are mildly retarded - causing 1GB/s extra unnecessary bandwidth-hit in the videocard, effectively invalidating any cache and further decreasing performance. Fixed it by removing 3D acceleration at some places ^^".
P.S. Hmm, today it's the 6th anniversary of me starting to study programming :)
Project (1 of 5):

Now DR2 has the ability to stream audio and extended-MIDI (similarly to ReWire),
but communication is not limited between two applications.
Moreover, the synchronization does not require installation of drivers, and won't require written licensing and obligations to developers (it'll be released as true opensource for anyone to see and use in any way).
Also, more than one stream-listener can connect to one stream-server.
Currently, any VST-hosting application can stream to/from DR2 :) .
I got fed up with DirectDraw's limitations (and bad performance btw), so I'm replacing the iDraw engine with a 3D engine... For now Dreamer2 uses 3 engines in cooperation: sDraw (software rasterizer), iDraw (DirectDraw) and xDraw (Direct3D). Pity..
Hm, usually software takes me 10-20 MJBs ("Major Builds"). An MJB is what other developers call "milestone". The last project I completed had 6 MJBs (~20,000 lines of code). The "ReAction" game had 77 MJBs (while its 3D engine had 22 MJBs). ClickoMania3 - 16 MJBs. DoubleTrouble2 - 8 MJBs. Dreamer1.5 - 173 Major Builds. Dreamer2 - 42 MJBs so far. 42, excluding the MJBs of all libraries and tools I initially developed outside DR2, then linked together into DR2. (the 2 GUI engines, 2 soundcard libs, OOP extentions to the ASM language, SDK surrounding DR2). Let's see how those 42MJBs increase till new-year :) .
